Locus typicus: Italy: Calabria, Cosenza, Aquappesa, Valle dei Bagni, ~150 m
Distribution: Mainly distributed along the Calabrian Apennines in the Calabria region, known in Central Italy from the Isola of Capraia Island only. Probably a Tyrrhenian endemic.
