Locus typicus: Italy: Calabria, Reggio Calabria, Santo Stefano in Aspromonte, between Gambarie and Montalto, ~38.14°N 15.853°E, 1500 m,
Distribution: Basilicata and Calabria. Known only from the Aspromonte and Pollino massifs.
