Locus typicus: Austria, Tyrol, Kreuzspitze m 2350-2750.
Distribution: Alps (Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria).

REMARKS: Thaler (1982) doubts about the citations from Alpi Carniche (di Caporiacco, 1938) given that the species was collected at 2500-3700 m.
